I have just bought a Jaboa wp10 wavemaker and found the magnets are very weak compared to the last couple I have bought, just wondered if anybody else had come across this problem as I will have to return it??

I had a 25 in my last tank and its to powerful for a shallow tank. It either blew the sand around or caused a vortex and air from the surface making a noise.

I swapped the 25 for a 10 and it was much better. ....For my tank anyway.

No, one was fine, but I did have a 4000 lph return at the other side of the tank which is what I will have again this time.

Just remembered your not doing sps this time round?

Guess you need to get water in there and see how it performs. The magnet was poor on 8mm glass on 10mm i cant see it being very secure at all.
I might have a magnet in my bits box from a Tunze or similar that might do the job?
