There seem to be a distinct lack of updates on this thread.

 

I've barely looked at the tank lately Martin, I done my first water change in 3 weeks the other day. Lost some corals to the heat, mr mustard got white spot but has shaken it off and I've added a clam to see how he goes. Cyno is clearing up but some green slime algae is taking over, **** happens

 

I have lot of cyano at the moment myself. The CP I got of Steve is probably not going to survive as he has now completely stopped feeding. I guess it is a chance I took but I hate watching animal starving to death. I have lost green acro colony since the new tank but saved one branch so jope it will pull through.

 

Can you not take it back to Steves to see if he can pull it around?

AF Probios and ProF appear to work on the cyano side of things dude.

 

Still playing silly games with cyano, haven't tested the tank for a while and mr mustard keeps getting WS the bell.

I know how you feel with the cyano. At least you can see your sand mine looks like I've furnished the tank with a red rug! Do you have anything turning it over?

 

I've got a chalk goby but he has started dropping sand on my clams and plates so may have to harpoon the little turd. What you doing to battle the cyano dude?

 

Not a great deal, chucked a bag of rowa in the sump, cutting down on feeding and keeping up with regular w/c.

I think it's improving as its getting less days between when I need to tooth brush off the rock to stop it smothering corals. Nitrate is 0.2 and phos 0 but I'm guessing cyano is eating these up.
