Got a frag of this and not a clue what it is
Only a novice so I'm prob totally wrong but is it not a montipora digita
Oh just thought you might be looking for a specific species name and in that case I'm useless haha
Looks like green montipora digitata to me
looks like a porties to me
Here's a pic of the frag 6 months on
sorry, whats the one on the bottom right? thanks
Thats what I was told it was, then someone else said it was a didgi. Beginning to get it's colour back now
You mean the orange sun coral?
judging by the name and the corals in the pic, I guess thats the one Big Thumbs Up thanks
Have a look at my tank thread, there's a pic of it out feeding. Shows it's true colours off nicely
looks like yellow digi to me buddy
Could be porities as Dave mentioned
If it is porities it would be easy to distinguish as they get a waxy coating that they shed every few weeks.
Had it for 6 months now Chris and haven't noticed this and TBH it's growing too quickly to be porities, thats why I posted as unsure between then two
I have a yellow porities and you would know about the waxy coating if it was.
So what do we think, Yellow didgi as per Nev's post?
yep..and i will take a frag when you do some mate :thumbup1:
Well it's definitely green in the first photo but definitely looks more yellow in your tank.
It's porites cylindrica
