weir quetion

if i cut both stand pipes down so there very short will this help with the toielt flushing sound, the sump is more then big enough to cope with the water from the weir if the power fails ? dont realy wont to mess about with a durso

I'm no expert but I dont think it will make a difference and might make it noisier with the water dropping from the top to the bottom of the weir .

hi m8 the wier chamber will be full of water , just 20 mm from top of comb

It will help but the Durso would be the better option.
