Not art but fish porn
Thank you so much everyone
Meanwhile I was due for a couple of FTS shots this time... from a different angle
Hopefully, when mine is grown out..........in about several years time, it will look like a smaller version of yours (i.e. well planted and extremely colourful)
thank you dude it will look the same for sure
and more news.
After removing the Sn from my water and relacing the rusty Aqua-Medic heater (hopefully I will not have Sn detected again!), I notice a big change in growth and color over the last weeks
20days more and I will send another water sample to be ICP tested.
Recently I introduced two Berghias from Koral Sea, to help me fighting some aiptasia that I have in the tank errr, I got the Chaetodon burgessi solution on hold since I don't want to compromise PE on the SPS so the fish will be my last option.
And finally some pictures
Am looking forward to my first ICP test results
The removal of Sn for sure has given you wonderful brightly coloured corals once more

thank you yes really pleased, let's hope for no more Sn
... I think I was due for some FTS shots?
Everything going smooth... corals are growing and this is looking much more packed everyday
Well I have been looking for a new photo setup for myself and the aquarium of course . Last Friday I had the change to test the Fujifilm Cameras X-T2 with a lot of different lens including the not yet released a NEW Fujifilm XF 80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro Lens and I must say I loved it.
Even with very high ISO and our usual "crazy lighting" inside the aquarium this was one of the best cameras I ever shot with.
The 80mm with an incredible sharpness, color and super fast and precise auto focus make it the best Macro lens I have tested yet.
I had it for a short period of time and being the first time I was photographing with a FujiFilm Camera I believe I can do better anyway check out the images I got
Macro Shots: Fujifilm XF 80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro
FTS Shots: Fujifilm XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS Lens
Photography and tank update
During Xmas break I had some time to familiarize myself with my new camera setup (finally) the Fujifilm Cameras X-T20... hello sharp images
So... while I wait for the macro lens I took out my current XF16-55 f2.8 for some FTS and fish shots... I must say it's approved.
The tank is running has been running fine... a bit of cyano lurking around but.... it's not too much.
Anyway... here it is the shots from the X-T20
Time for some top down shots, still with the FTS lens the Fuji 16-55mm f/2.8 with the Fujifilm Cameras X-T20
All shot in RAW post processed in Lightroom.
Photography Geek out.
The tank has been stable, with some minor issues (a bit of cyano... and sometimes a tiny bit of STN on certain corais not sure if it's because of shading or something else...) the ICP testing is very good and parameters are stable.
New fish coming this week... wish me luck ahah
BIG update coming this later this week or early next week, stay tuned.
may I ask what schedule your running on your lights?
Thank you so much.

Got to be one of the best tanks I've seen,, corals look amazing,, absolutely stunning.
Thank you so much
Well.. say hello to my Vlogger side ahah
One week using the GHL KH Director and loving it
KH has been steady with a difference of 0.3 dKh to my Hanna but again if the value is consistant I dont mind the difference.
I've been told that on the next GCC version we will be able to create an offset to match our test kits if anyone desire.
Now I'm more concerned about consistancy and that's what I'm going to see with time... so far so good.
P.S. excuse the weird sound... I need a new mic and a lot more of practice ahah
Thank you for watching.
This is the month for news
The new EcoTech Marine Radion diffusers are here and already installed them.
Looking great with an easy install.
I also took the change to clean the radions from dust and stuff as well.
The difference is very noticable in the shadows and the light looks a lot more spreaded, altough hard to represent on pictures... let's see what I can arrange on the following days.
A small video I made of the installation... for a change
Loving the new light effect, much smoother light and spreaded.
Everything has been fairly normal... besides some dinos over the sand errr that showed up a while back, I was getting so fed up that I tried my friends suggestion.... 72h blackout that finished today and it looks like RESULT! everything is very clean.
I gave everything UV for 24h and 2h of Ozone per day killll ittttt LOL
KH is very stable at the moment being fully controlled by the KH Director, besides the spike I've been having because of the blackout... I'm letting KHD deal with it (I'm monitoring this closely)
Now acclimatization is ON, very simple with the Radions I must say (love it)... startign with 30%(purple line) of the usual 90% this will come up in 1week
Now a few shots I took before the blackout
Yes it's getting packed lol
