Cyano it comes and goes... I get heat nor tail about it. One striking thing for sure, it comes around in many tanks in springtime.

The Choati, does he take day for night? One of the most beautiful macropharyngodon, but not the easiest.

Stunning corals and clams, Pedro.

Yes, will give some time to the cyano errr :)

The Choati takes the day... morning 1hour after the lights are at 100% :) he comes out for 20minutes I'd say... then he sometimes comes out for a second time but it's hard to see lol

Thank you :)

Update....

Hello everyone,

Continuing from the ATO fail 2.0 lol things are looking good... I lost my T. Maxima most likely because of the SG swing :( still everything else is back to normal and I'm loving the evolution...

All the elements are almost spot on... let's see how's things in a month time...

Latest ICP results, received yesterday.

Screenshot_2_zpsscgsdfon.png

At the moment I'm trying to maintain No3 above 0.00 but I'm still fine tuning the No3 dosage... still last week No3 was back to 0.00 and cyano algae is now attacking with a bit more strenght... :)

Anyway like I said.... generaly everything is OK :)

Here it is some macro shots taken yesterday with a Sony a7s mk ii + Samyang 100mm Macro f2/8

Wow Pedro.....I've just googled Sony a7s :w00t:. That's one very expensive camera, but does produce awesome pictures, which I think are amazing Big Thumbs Up.

Hello,

Equipment news... after having 2 ATO problems, I finally got the new Profilux 4 :) now I'm ready to optimize the controls and put fail safes in place to make sure I'm safe :)

New sump installation VERY soon :) finally I got all the pieces together :)

.

Update... the system has been very stable, Kh ~7.2 I'm always raising Core7 dosage lol :S

33900210021_633a74949c_o.png

My Kh was going down to ~6 dKh so I used Triton Co3 to raise it to my desired level since Ca and Mg are a bit high... anyway finally it looks stable :)

It's now 14th of Apbril and I prepared a 2 months growth pics, this way growth is even more noticable :)

Some pictures were hard to take this time... now the frags are starting to get to the size that my 90mm macro lens has too much zoom to photograph the whole coral :) next growth pics I will be changing to 24-70mm lens ahah

Here we go… another update :)

Last weekend finally I installed my new Seadreams sump and the GHL Profilux 4 :) I'm loving the level of control and security it brings to the system finally some peace of mind ahah

Still need to organize the wireing… we had lots of rain plus sump area is outside so that delayed the process, when I finish it I'll post more pics :)

Fore now I'll leave here some photos and videos of the system.

My macro algae stock… finally I can appreciate it comfortably ahah

Sump water path:

After the bubble breaker, it falls in the filter sock section (filter sock only used when I do major cleaning in the DT) then water comes into the refuge below the algae.

Little update...

Two days after I filmed my "Motion Macros" video, a friend of mine came to visit and brought his camera kit a Sony a7s ii + Samyang 85mm f1.2 e Samyang 100mm macro f2.8 (P.S. I love this kit for video) LOL... so I had to steal this for a couple of hours to take some 4K footage of the corals :)

Here's the result ... watch it in 4K :)

thanks a lot for the feedback CEECH :) , yes the fuge takes a lot of No3 but also provides sugars which the SPS can sintetize in Amino Acids so it's a balance :)

I'm actually dosing No3 atm 0.75mg/L per day

Even 'static' sps move ;) Love that tricolor.

Nice job!

thanks a lot Pelici :D really glad to hear it :)

Hello :)

Yesterday I got the lastest ICP results of my water, everything is OK... Sr, Zn and I still low... let's fix that for the next test :)

The tank is looking good, had a bit of a AEFW scare but it's under control I hope.
