I've recently moved in with my long term partner and he wants me to move my tank in thats currently at my parents. It's a 350 corner tank his main concern is if I have an accident and spill water in his brnat new carpet so I was thinking dose any one have any suggestions? Like a waterproof membrane under it or anything like that. I'm sure he will be fine but I've occasionally flooded the floor before.

How about a wet and dry vacuum close by ?
Or have the carpet cut to the front of the tank
And stand the tank on marine plywood
