slime in sump?

    Seen something floating on top ow water in return chamber of sump,when put me hands in to get it out it was a clear slime like frogspawn without the black in it, any ideas ???

    ah ok usally NOPOX creats like a clear film on top of water surface when over dosing it.. maybe it could be your salts (balling)

    Try adding some filter floss above your return across the water surface

    Dont think i explained what it is! Its like a massive lump of slimy egg white what all clump together, so i think if i put floss on top it would just hang under the floss!
