    lights on at 11 am
ramp up to 82% white, 72% blue by 12 midday
stay at this until 8pm, then down to 0% by 9pm

When I installed the Razor, I had to start with a maximum of 75% white and 65% blue as some of the corals high up in the tank found a higher setting too much, I have been gradually increasing the levels and will probably stop increasing at 85 white, 75 blue.

    1. 10am Blue & White 0%
    2. 12.00 Blue 50% White 20%
    3. 2.00pm Blue 100% White 100%
    4. 6.00pm Blue 100% White 100%
    5. 8.00pm Blue 100% White 80%
    6. 10.00pm Blue & White 0%

Have built up over few weeks, originally had them ramping up from 8.00 to about 80% by 12.00 and then down to 5% blue and whites off from 4.00 to 10.00 then blues off at 11.00. This was way too long and I ended up with a Cyano outbreak. Recently changed to the above, shortening the day but increasing to 100% for 4 hours and the cyano is disappearing but some trial Sps seem to be thriving . Am really pleased with them, plus they look so good!

I have the 10k 160w [X2] version and run mine at the following,

    13.30 on
    14.30 15%W 50%B
    15.30 100%W 100%B
    20.30 50%W 100%B
    22.00 25%W 65%B
    23.00 off

I've ramped them back up recently after beating algae issues so I can continue with the fantasic growth I was seeing,

Mine are 9" above the water surface which gives really good spread across the 5ft [24" deep],

after speaking to maxspect i have revised my settings they explained that the ramping up and down are relevant to time scale eg if 100% at 12 and 50% at 2 at 1 it would 75% so theorectically you could simulate a day with just 3 time points he suggested a steady ranp up then to hold it at its highes for a couple of hours then a steady ramp down i explained i did not want the moon light on all night as well

this is what he came up with

This photo-period profile would peak momentarily at 3pm then gradually ramp down to 80% at 10 pm, or in other words this system will have approximately (per day) 4-5 hours at intensity around 80-90%, 4 hours at around 30-80%, 1-2 hours at around 10-30% and the rest would be moon-light.

    1. 10am 1% blue 0% white
    2. 12pm 50% blue 60% white
    3. 3pm 100% blue 100% white
    4. 10pm. 80% blue 60% white
    5. 11pm 50% blue 20% white
    6. 12 pm 1% blue 0 % white

figured this would give me moonlight till 2 am then off on again in the morning to gradual ramp up to max intensity from midday til 3pm then a steady decline till midnight with 3 hours moon light

heres what i changed it too

    1. 10am 1% blue 0% white
    2. 12pm 50% blue 70% white
    3. 3pm 80% blue 80% white
    4. 8 pm. 60% blue 30% white
    5. 10 pm 1% blue 0% white
    6. 1130 pm 0% blue 0 % white

then going to use apex moonlights

let me know what you all think

looking at most settings most people seem to hold a their maximum intensity for 4-6 hours but the sun gets gradually more intense reaches a max then starts gradual incline

If you look at my whites that's what they do matey,

My whites ramp up to 15.30 and then down from that point so mine are at 100% on both channels only for minutes,

I don''t hold at 100% on both channels just blue which just keeps it in the higher K range and suits my eye.

I have the moon module and although its quite neat following the natural rise and fall off the moon I find it pretty useless I want he moon light to come on at night but most of the month the moon rises and sets in the day
