What do you think happened tyger? You were so meticulous with your QT regime as well.

Has a foreign substance accidently got into the tank or sump?

Is it just poor luck mate?

Don't know tbh. This is the second time this has happened. There is a growing opinion by some serious reefers that the parasites are becoming more resistant to our treatments. As I dsid earlier no one single shop i have ever been in has been WS free. I think things will only get worse shops need to get their fingers out or it will only get worse.

I still have that colony in navs tank, and have taken a load of frags off Ben. Plus an urchin off you!!!!! Bloody hell in walking the line!

Maybe my tank water is that potent that WS cannot survive! Hahaha

What gets me is for ages I never QT'd anything and had no real problems directly as a result, whereas H does it by the book and gets crapped on, there's no justice out there! You must just be a bad ........!!

I'm starting to think it's just pot luck on the fish immune side of things. When guys like Howard get hit with disease issues there is no hope for us mere mortals

Yep put it down to bad luck most of my fish I've not qt or dipped coral , if I loose a few on the journey theres not a lot I can complain about , think more of it as Fraz says is down to the fish immune and stress levels as to if and when this sort of thing happens and like Howard says if theres more resistant strains of w's out there we can't really do a lot about that until company that make drugs to combat it catch up , theres that many on the market that doesn't work that they claim do and take your hard earned cash off you , if these medications were for human consumption you bet company claims would be correct then

Your deformation right on the pot luck. Both Angels I had died for no reason at all and they were not cheap at all. Very disheartening when it happens.
