I think lucy86 has a point.

I know it's really only for fun, and is raising money for TSB, but I think there should either be a set number of tickets available (100? 150?), or a time limit on when tickets are available (1 or 2 weeks)

At least that way everyone who wants to buy a ticket know whats happening from the start. And nobody can complain.

Doesn't bother me too much - I've done well out of TSB raffles!

I wouldnt go to the bookmakers and place a bet on a horse at 10/1 only to be told that my odds had now changed, but oh by the way we'are keeping your money.

That's exactly how it works with the tote Lucy, you place a bet and at the time it could be 10/1 and by time the race goes off it could be 2/1 or 50/1. At the end of the day it's a game, I don't think it said there was a fixed amount of tickets, infact, I think it said that there are 50 numbers and if more are needed then they would be added.

The entire thing was set up by Dave and not myself, something I very much appriciate. As I have said before many times running costs are not an issue personally but if members wish to help they can do of their own free will. The most important thing is that its a free forum with no restrictions on free speech and no sponsors

Stop it now then ya grumpy cow! Hysterical Everyone knows what you mean Lucy but it is a fund raiser so the more the merrier. I have purchased 15 tickets and haven't been added to the list DAVE!!!! Not to win anything but to help out :thumbup1:

Draw will be done on the 7th July at Cockfields. I will ask Mark to do the draw l. That's next Saturday so feel free to attend. Draw will be made at 2pm
