    Hi Guys,
How often should I change my RODI filters?
I have been changing my pre filter and resin/ carbon filter every 6 months or so but after 18 months I have yet to change my RO membrane.

    Thanks Gary

membrane may not need changing for several years, best way to check is measure input and output tds, if the membrane is rejecting 95% or more of the tds, then it's good, if not then try a prolonged flish for an hour, and see if this improves..

Thanks for that. My old TDS meter has bitten the dust so I think a new one is in order. The main reason I ask is because the membrane is by far the most expensive bit , compared to the pre filter or resin.

Have you a recommendation for a good TDS meter

    Thanks Gary
