Took some more top down shots recently with my Sony Xperia XZ Premium. Starting to see some nice basing out and sprouting on a couple of pieces

So hard to get a decent photo of the colouring of this one, but it's a yellowy/green base with blue skin and browny with white polyps

Tenuis on the right came in all blue, went totally brown, and is now showing some wicked coloration

Well, I haven't added any coral recently. I still need to add a little more rockwork in the mid section. Possibly get that done over the xmas break.

But seeing my nutrients were low, I've decided to add a couple of fish. I bought a fairy wrasse, orange with a white belly, and a juvenile Pseudodax Moluccanus. I left it two weeks, then added a small yellow tail tamarin and a lovely false leopard. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the false leopard since it went in :(

Some pics:

Also did an ICP. Seems I am low on Iodine, Molybdenum, Stontium and Boron, all of which are in the FM Balling Lite bottle 1. This is what goes in the calcium mix, but seeing as my tank doesn't chew through Ca mix as fast as the Kh, this doesn't get dosed as much, so I am thinking af adding that supplement to the Kh mix instead, along with Trace 2 and 3.

Well, bit of a #### night with the tank. At 10:00pm, the lights go from setting 10 on blues only down to 6 which is just the 3xUVs. As soon as it switched, the UVs started flickering like a lighting storm. As I pulled the chair out of the way to switch the unit off, a wrasse flew passed me and landed on the chair. It was fairly dark, but I am sure it was a yellowtail. I quickly scooped it up and put it back in the tank. Lights turned off and set my T5s to come on from 12pm today until I can pull the evergrow unit off later and see what's wrong. I'm hoping it's just the driver for the 3 UVs which is broke because I have a spare. Guess I could always amend the setting to go from 10 to zero though, effectively cutting out that driver.

Then, the missus messaged me this morning with a pic of my red fairy wrasse which was on the chair. She seems to think it's the same wrasse who jumped last night :(:(

I can't even put a jump net on the tank because of how the lighting legs rest on the tank sides. It's these kind of set backs which make me want to just drain the tank down and bin it off.
