Right, just tried to check out those stats Scott. Doesn't give specifics, but does state it "optimizes calcium and magnesium concentrations". So, if the Pro salts aren't so beneficial to corals with the elevated kh/mg, why do they use the "Pro" terminology which, to me anyway, suggests you're buying a superior product?

what salt is that on?
personally I use tropic Marin pro reef as it matches natural sea water closest and has all major and minor trace elements.
some of the pro salts have elevated levels which aim you down a certain road e.g. enhanced growth, enhanced colours e.t.c.
not all salts are equal as for as parameters they vary from nsw like up to red sea coral pro which is highly elevated.

That's the one Warby. You mention it has the major/minor trace elements. Does that mean I don't need to dose weekly with a mineral supplement as I am now?
