and a golden eye chalice, which is to the left of the picture, and is my 6th chalice. great corals, fairly easy to look after a brimming with colour

    thanks

Just put in a reactor with GFO and some siporax so hopefully over next few days it will start to slow down and then die off.

For a little piece of golden eye chalice I have to make room in my tank, that's one on my list. I love yellow-red...

That shrimp will take care of your astrinas population, it goes quick. Fascinating creatures, a shame they one eat starfish...

The acan frag that I bought earlier this month has started to colour up nicely and under blues looks fantastic

Some of the corals have really grown, especially the LPS and have the start of coral warfare between a candy cane that has gone from 2 heads to about 10 in 6 months and a torch who's tentacles seem to extend to over 6 inches

Still dosing nopox and up to 12ml per day as nitrate increased to 20 and phos to 0.8 during December which is the highest levels since tank was set up. Now brought it down to 8 and 0.045 which is ok and happy to leave it at this level.

Took the plunge and bought the new apex controller and what an improvement with built in wifi. Now have all the proper alarms set up, do not lose connection and no connecting with a cable to router for an update. Can access via phone so great for when I am away.

The updated unit has more sockets so removed the PM2 unit so less cables.

Much better design and easy to set up too

Have taken a liking to chalices and added 2 more recently to take the total to 8. 2 have grown into colonies and have started fragging.

Would like to add more but do not have room for the 2 I have just bought so gonna have to move some stuff on. Never enough room!!!

Very nice. It is difficult to get bright colours but the corals from WWC just look outstanding. How did u go about ordering and getting them into UK, as would like to order a couple of top notch Ines from them?

    Thanks bud.

The blue watermelon should be a stunner once it grows out as not many blue corals out there although seems to be a slow grower, not bad for £6 though!!!
