I had a few corals left in my frag tank, a couple of hammers, zoas and small SPS's so transferred them over although have not glued them to live rock yet, a job for another day.

Before I close it down I have one more job to complete and that is what do I do with this stunning pair of juvenile Ora Picasso clown fish that are in the tank? They are only about 1 inch long, came with the reefer 450 but I already have a pair of clowns and both my wife and 2 boys will not part with the existing pair.

Can I mix the 2 pairs in the 450 even though they are very different colours or do I need to sell them as they will fight to the finish?

    Would appreciate your advice

It could work well but then again it could be a disaster. I would just keep 1 pair. The nice ones lol. Your up against it. You taking your frag tank down ? If not why not keep them in it ☺

Mate they are beauties! I know what I'd be getting rid of

Failing that you'll sell them in a breath. I'd have them if I didn't have some already.

I have no chance of keeping the Picasso as family appear attached to the common clown fish, lol. To be fair, which I don't really want to be, they have helped a lot to get the tank from Derby, filled half the tank with salt water, aquascaped and transferred fish and corals so not going to push it.

I am happy with just one tank and they would soon outgrow a 85L Aqua medic blenny. Have had 2 tanks running for 3 months and ok when it was a 135l and 85l but not now.

Not sure I wanna take a risk in a Harry hill fight though

I think I will have to sell them on, gutted. Not sure how much they are worth though so will need to do some research.

I agree, would be gutted as helped to kill 2 fish unnecessarily.

I agree. £150 second hand. Maybe a tad more. I'd expect to pay about £180-£200 in a shop.

I could be wrong though. Think tyger paid similar money.

Here's what the tank currently looks like,

Looks a little bare but loads of space to fill out over the next 12 months. Will go with a few SPS but dominated by LPS and a few zoas.

Using programme from seller as not set up reeflink yet and happy with how both radion and vortechs are working.

Radion switches on at about 10:30 and turn white at midday before turning to blue at about 9:00 until midnight. Liking the settings.
