Are these the same manufacturer of the South Pacific Sunlight MH bulbs, BlueLife?

they look v. good having read reviews on other forums....but v. pricey
3reef have a big post on them with videos of a tank running them...

sadly no shimmer effect with these it seems, but pc interface/control looks v nice, and easier to setup than profilux..

ithink so [002.gif] lots of money but wow.... i like the idea of setting it up for seasons lunar cycles cloudy days ect... and no replacing bulbs [001_smile.gif]

the importer has advised that 1 160w unit will be enough for my tank so im looking at about 850 quid for a master unit [013.gif]

can u advise of an led unit to go with this computer???

is it possible to make my own? ive noticed they sell led strips too.. it would be loads cheaper to buy all the components from them and put it together ( im hoping it would be plug and play) and build some sort of housing for it

They do an aquaray interface for sunrise/set/clouds
And their own simul strips do lightning and moodphases + red tinge to sunup

Have to be honest though their led support is laking, mostly ghl support 0-10v or dali ballasts

Its not easy plug n play with ghl for led but it might be worth asking mathius on the profilux forum for more info

You can diy an osram ballast to drive 2 aquarays via ghl for half the price ghl charge ;)
