My local marine store in Norway have a mimic really cool.

don't have a tank at the moment, but if they can be bought in the uk, I would make a tank for one.

yes I know they tend to only like live crab and only live max of 2 years, more often 1. but want a different challenge that doesn't cost the earth with corals and loads of fish and cuc.

oh and yes they are master escape artists, its been known in public aquariums that they escape to another tank to eat livestock and return to there own tank. want to train one to open jars with crabs in.

They can be bought in the UK matey iv seen a couple but they don't come up that often.

sweet steve, what sort of price will they retail at, and is there cheap variant of crab that can be bought to feed them?

plus what types of octopus do they get at tmc?, obviously I don't want blue ring and the poisonous types as I like to carry on breathing!
