I don't mind you borrowing the format at all NM.

I like the openness of the rockwork. I am in love with that purple tang ;_00

Trumpet and Candy cane are both common names for Caulastrea, usually C.furcata. (Don't worry I have swallowed the Borneman Coral book, it regurgitates occasionally)

Where you say No Additives at the moment, are you sure your not using vodka or owt, that frag rack looks drunk to me :-

Nice start, plenty more pics needed, and what do plan on stocking next??

Cheers I see it and thought it looked very PRO

As for the rockwork I am going to try to go for something a little like yours on the left of the tank .

The frag rack sits like that until I turn the tunze off then it sits nice and level

After the tank move I intend to tidy it all up . I don't think I will put many more fish in but I'm going to concentrate on alot more corals .

Yeah you will tanks are always an on going hobby you are never ever finished doing things lol even the most mature tank owners find something they want to add or change hehe but you will get there eventually there is no rush persay take your time and you will find yourself scaping and looking back thinking wow now thats fabulous (well il say that not you but you will say something butch and manly lmao)

    That should look really good.

I have just read you need to move the tank, don't envy you that at all.

I am finding corals extremely addictive, I am going to Fishworld Saturday on my Birthday, I have no idea where my purchases will go, will need to move some stuff around I think.

At least the move means you can do what you want to with the scape, unless you have to, you are always reluctant to touch anything, corals sulk like teenage boys after.

hi , yes would def need strip down , only with a more compact lr structure can the tank be moved with the half-empty method.

as tiger pointed its a great chance to re-scape , i love scapeing , :-D corls do love a sulk but thats good as its just self-protection and they'll soon be back out some times better than before.

test before and after , will confirm if all is ok. with water , temp , ph , n01,2 and 3's, salinity.

    have fun :-- matthew :--

Yes have to agree with the rest of the s/b crew
Aquascaping has been well thought out,
and about time with the thread mister :-
it amazes me how many times i have seen tanks with just a pile of rocks in the middle all stacked up,its almost like if you have no imagination why bother?
but yours is certainly not the case scott :)))
also hows the tang fella, still no problems i hope??
    Rich.. :-D

Trust me, the look on his face when he thought he had cracked the bottom of the tank was sickening.

He was gutted for abouut 15 mins, until the tank was safely moved and inspected :))

    Luckily, everything was ok ::::-0000
