i told ya once Nev,,now i am gonna tell ya again..its not a cistern its a surge ....
Looks nothing like me
Right back to ps3 for me and time to crack open another wine, I can't cope with this abuse :w00t:
and i love the dancing in this video dude
I wasnt knocking Liams tank, but I did agree it wasbt up to the same former glory as when I saw it last. Still a nice tank though, just missing my moorish and shoal of tangs!
Now back on topic, your sps look a hell of a lot better than mine do at the moment! Are you balling or using calc reactor?

I know, I was only pulling your leg
My calc reactor isn't on yet, I've been winging it. Not done any tests for weeks and add spoon of bicarb once in a while and a large syringe full of calc/mag mixed when I remember to.
It must be due to there not being much in there and it's a large volume of water. Getting growth and if I wasn't so skint I'd have braved a colony but had to make do with frags for now
With the swinging temperature and my lax approach it's amazing!
doing a grand job so far funky, im anticipating the surge and how you overcome any issues as im now thinking of setting one up on my tank.
so can I have an invite now?
what about if I bring Liam along too? he normally likes that kinda thing!
Cheers Simon hopefully it will be running in the next few days. This one could have been running but I'd have to alter a few things and as the containers got a crack in (siliconed up) it wasn't worth trying
So matts made a better looking version up at epo towers
Do you mean the tank in the reception area or one out back?
Theres really not much to see not ATM anyway
But yeah you're welcome for a brew, I just need to get it finished and the flapper valve in
You might need Wellies, a rainmack and ear defenders ;-)
Make sure you have a life insurance policy too. Your loved ones will need looking after once you have been viscously slaughtered by the suicide valve. If that doesnt get you the devil spawn surge will. If by pure luck you side step those too demons then no doubt the reef bones will get you. Its madness...madness!!!!
Can you believe I don't even have contents insurance maybe a job for the near future
This is what its like being in Funky's kitchen

I like to think of it more like this
I was just a little bit sick in my mouth
Well after one last shake of my marracas and finishing the conga with Rueben and Dennis I've done some water tests at last
Phos 0.05 or below, hard to be exact on TM test, but it's not high. I do have some Algae though so time for rowa soon
A before and after pic, very slow growth but not dead! It took some time to base out, saturation must have been turned up in the first pic but I'm finding taking pics on the iPad a ball ache
And recent ones have settled in fine
Who said nems can't go in new tanks
And yours is fine Al
Lookin good Funky! Some nice growth and colours in there are you planning on adding more sps anytime soon?
Its all down to money unfortunately so I will be but don't know when. Hoping to buy a colony when I get paid
With my last one everything I put in tended to die so at least I won't feel like I'm throwing money away with this one
Do you want to borrow a DSLR camera?..oh no..wait a minute.Hysterical
I lent one off of a mate. The donut left me a dodgy charger and two dead batteries. He's continually letting me down so it was half expected. I should kick his man conkers in
See you Saturday, hopefully ;-)
