i did run a polyfilter when this all started, and it didn't turn green ( copper sign),,,so i don't
necessarily think it is copper...just summat else crappy..lol

Glad to see you have found the issue mate, as the tank was totally stunning before, and you have not really done anything different.

At least this is a plausible reason and I bet the tank totally turns around from now on.

  6. Shocking experience mate! [pun intended]

Joking aside, I know it's a real bummer watching your pride and joy going south rapidly.

Glad you found the problem tho - not something people immediately think about.

I've been lucky that mine have always broken when I've forgotten to turn them off and accidentally lifted them out of the water and they've shattered in my hand (not a nice experience!) but not gotten a shock.

Now the problem has been found I'm sure it'll be up and sparkling in no time! [rockon.gif]

    Good stuff [thumbup1.gif] ,

was impressed with the Rena smart tbh, a good value heater considering 300W,

look forward to the piccies, and while we're on the subject how about an FTS..? It's all going to be positive from here on in, so get one up now and we can all see the progress, [thumbup.gif]

Nev you will get there, yes its going to take some time.

I must admit I was not prepared for that pic at all, not after having seen the tank.

It really cannot get any worse, you have to be on the up now. [thumbup.gif]

    Stick with it chuck [wink.gif]
