Firstly, Thanks for taking the time out of your day, to read my thread.

I first cut my teeth into marines and reef keeping about 4 years ago now, ..........I started with a 4ft set up, running a very basic fish system with a few soft corals. what a time that was!...lots of mistakes, cash wasted, gadgets purchased etc etc...the biggest frustration was the amount of different advise that was given by various parties, most of it conflicting, Im pretty sure that you all have had this happen as well!

I then joined a couple of Reef Forums to seek more info, some great, some OK, and some utter crap!...........but in the main, I gained a hugh amount of useful practical info which has helped me create the system I now have today. which I just 100% adore.

My main aim now is to absorb more info and gain a better understand of how to run a big SPS/LPS dominated system, with a big head of fish,........... My ultimate goal is to upgrade to a 10ft x 3ft wide x 30" High system complete with a wet/fish/sump room behind it with lots of shiney blue lights and flashing LED Gadgets that I see the real big boys at this game have, oh yeah and pipes lots of pipes, and ball valves......and a BIG Skimmer...calm down duds..calm down! (I'm going to convert my 3 garages into a new living area, so will set this up as a tank in the wall system ..........I hope to be able to turn this dream into a reality in about 12 months time..............money willing of course!..oh yeah, and me begging the wife to let me do it!

Please feel free to pass any comments both good and bad, I'm very keen to learn and take note of all you reefers out there, I love to learn new things , ideas and other ways and approaches.............so dont be shy!

My aim of this thread is to show the development of my reef over the coming months and years, and I will continue to update this main page with any additions into my reef...............so here we go...............

Here's a list of my set up that I have today:

The 3rd chamber has a 6" deep Agramud bed, with some high quality Fuji Live rock - The cleaned water from the skimmer flows into this section as well
