New addition i aquired this week,
strawberries and cream anyone?? :-::

its not looking fully inflated yet, but seen as it has travelled all the way from ireland ,and with filter floss wrapped around the actual coral itself its hardly supprising :roll:

And yesterday i finally managed to prise this little beauty
out of my local lfs's show tank,
it had been in there for months slowly getting worse and worse till
it got to the point,that i had to have it out with them ;0
i said to them that either they try to look after the coral properly,or let me/or someone else try
at the end of the day it was bound to die in a month or so
so i thought i'd take the chance,its either going to swing one way or the other anyway after so much neglect.
Heres a pic of how it looked when i got it home

Here's one after i had taken the tweezers to it

Its obviously still a tad messed up
and has refused to feed at all so far :-0
so i am slightly worried as its receeded right to the mouth
but if you dont try chances are it will be brown bread anyway
fingers crossed i can save it :roll:

i've been after a bleeding apple scoly for as long as i can remember
so i will be very happy if i can bring it round :-D

Also picked up this week
a lovely green/blue moseleya
a clown tang
true pair or rainfords/hector goby's
and true a pair of mandarins
and 1 female lubbucks wrasse
pics to come later,after i've done a water change :mrgreen:

Sorry tina,
I know you wanted pics of the mandarins
but i have to admit i spent most of last night babysitting my
new rescue project,the damaged scoly.
Which i'm happy to say i managed to feed it not once but twice with lancefish both times,which it greedily devoured in no time,the poor critter must have been half starved to death as well
Here's a pic of it finishing some lancefish

And heres a pic about an hour later after the feed,i think it looks slightly better than it did,its a tad more puffed up now imo

Full Tank shot, Mandarin Pair settled strawberries and cream and an update on the not so good coral you are trying to rescue. :-00
