Really good. I do like the curly gorg.
Cheers kev, they are nice the curly gorgs the pics not great on this one
as in real life if you will its a lovely bright yellow but you get the idea,
i tried to get an orange one but it had been reserved, mores the pity
so will keep my eyes peeled for another as i have seen these in about 6-7 different colour strains so theres plenty of choice

I know Ocean Corals have stocked these Gorgonians in the past.

Looking at your pics I am on the verge of kicking into touch my FOWLR system. Ah well it was a good idea at the time.

I dont know if anyone knows or not,or is even remotly bothered lol, but i'm still manually doseing suplliments
to my tank and have got to the stage where it is now doing my nut in
so i thought i'd decided on getting a calcium reactor after months of debating with myself, but after looking into it a little more and having spoke with my local lfs have just about decided to go with the balling lite method instead
my lfs are doing a balling lite starter pack for only £39.99
so its obviously cheaper than setting up a calc reactor with all the relevant bits and pieces required (gauges gas etc etc )
and if it shows no decent results after 2-3 months i'll ditch the balling and bite the bullet with the calc reactor,
but my question is,at last i hear you say,
is balling any good for just lps.
anyones thoughts appreciated Rich.. :?:

Hey kev theres so many times i have thought about going the other way
fowlr, but it has never happened yet i think once you go for the corals
theres no turning back buddy the addiction really starts lol
Yes paul has stocked these thats where i got mine from
i remember when he first started marines and brought his family round to mine to buy a bucket load of frags
hows times change :-D

My question is whats the balling lite method, never heard of that one?
balling lite is an easier way of doseing suppliments to your tank
to keep the parameters stable
has shown some great results on some tanks tbfair

Lovely looking tank.

Will be interested to see how you get on with Balling lite. I am adding manually myself.

I don't think it matters if you have LPS or SPS to be honest, cal and mag is calc and mag it is just a metod of adding them to suffiecient levels.

I think your right t.i. i just feel i could squeeze a bit more out of my tanks corals with a little more effort and some different suppliments tbh
so will see what happens, should be picking up a starter pack on monday all being well
Rich. :-D

I think the method is supposed to give you more stable levels than adding manually.

Will be interested to see your results.

Well i decided to keep my mystery wrasse for the minute
untill something better comes along,
and came up with this new fish wish list
i'm on the lookout for any of these fish below and would consider
swapping or swap + cash either way,i doubt much will come of this though as most of these fish are a pita to track down
but here goes
a rhomboid fairy wrasse
a candy basslet, not the cheaper swales reef basslet
a choati leopard wrasse
a tiny sargassum trigger
a yellow assessor with the orange line round the dorsel
a pair of yellowhead jawfish
a pair of red striped cardinalfish or pair fivelined cardinalfish
lined chromis
juv feminine tamarin wrasse
redmargined fairy wrasse
lined fairy wrasse
juv checkerboard wrasse
juv torpedo wrasse
small/juv threelined ribbon wrasse
juv twotone wrasse
i'm not after all of the above fish but on the off chance anyone has
or knows where i can get any of them, drop me a pm or leave a message on this thread please, it would be appreciated
also after a rainfords and hector/court jester gobies
but these should be readily available i imagine
