    :looking great: What a transformation!

Will look superb when them SPS start growing and work up to the surface!

Will be watching this thread closely because i have to admit i'm an LED sceptic, I'd love to go LED but i've seen too many horror stories.(i.e. going back to t5's or halides)

Well yesterday I had the chance to see Gedwards tank for the first time in the flesh.

I have always wanted to go in and have a look yet the slightly large Alsatian's behind the door and the notice to the post man ' Don't put your fingers through the letterbox ' kept me waiting in the car.

Anyway as the door opened I was greeted with how are you with dogs..... Not good, please remove them and I was in as the beasts where howling in the kitchen.

The SPS colours are fantastic and the LPS are also doing well. The big thing for me was the LED units, which IMO bring out the colours no end.

If I get half the coloration that ged has on the SPS then I will be a happy man.

Credit to you Ged, your doing something right. And a massive thanks for the borrow of the ozone.

Cheers Chris, everthing I have learned is from fellow reefers off this forum, but I still try to bend the rules a little. :-d

Thanks for the compliments mate, it means a lot, a lot of people on here have been reefing for a lot longer than myself.

Ditto mate. That's how we all learn and keep on learning.

Don't know how long you have been at it but this is my 6th year and your SPS are a credit to you, something I have always failed with. Hopefully this time and much more effort I will get it.

My first tank was setup May 15th 2009 - The RSM 130D

The newer tank, (the one you saw yesterday) I picked up with Nev on August 8th 2009 - So a little less than 2 years.

I am not saying that SPS are easy, it has taken me from May 2009 until November 2010 to get success with them. But, with the help from Nev and Killi, and Heller etc, and generally listening to people on days out and reading threads etc they would appear to be doing well, finally.

I'm a wee bit gutted tonight as Alex went to Pete's to pick up a nice Hydnophora frag but Pete being the generous fella he is threw a hystrix frag in the bag as well. When I took the Hydnophora out it was near on white. Dont think its going to even try to come back which is a f**er but the hystrix seems to have settled much better.

    Never say never mate.

Here's the Roger frag I got from Pete's. Lovely and white.

When I got mine, there were 5 frags in the same bag, not lost one yet.

    Just see how it goes.

I hasten to add I never got one of those though..... Pete.... :whistling:

If you want some Hystrix, I can give you a piece in a couple of weeks, I think mine is different to Pete's his is a long branch one iirc and they point up in the air. Mine is one that is straggly and goes really bushy by the looks of it.
