Had a massive outbreak of cyano

Left it as long as I could, hoping that it would burn itself out in time for having people round during Christmas but it was getting worse so I dosed ultralife red slime remover.

    After 24h [IMG]

    After 48h [IMG]

    And 96 hours later [IMG]

Picked up a few early Christmas presents for myself yesterday

    6 nice little wild pieces

I have lost one coral that was already heavily stressed. Maybe the slight shift in parameters took it over the edge but regardless I am very happy with the result

looks well pal, that ultralife is good stuff, seriously makes skimmers go nuts, and from looks of it a few of your lps and clams had a good sulk.

but in the end it comes good.

Cheers rory, it does make the skimmer go crazy but it is a cracking product that does exactly what it says on the tin.

The clams was closed because I turned the lights up to take the pic

With the rimless tanks I find it really difficult to get a half decent pic. Just had an idea of draping a towel in front of the light to stop the glare [IMG]
