And full tank shot, anemone now decided to sit round the back of the Rock and not eating prawns like it was before.. Not sure why

Tempted to move the rock the small toadstool is on onto the floor and move my GSP in its place to cover those rocks and get some serious colour going.

Oh and here is Sully my sulphur goby who is a new addition from couple of days ago.

My Valentino puffer decided it ate all my snails and couple crabs so had to go back, made me really sad actually :(.

Think may need a full chat about my tank. I feel like maybe I need carbon to help my phosphate removal? But no idea where I can add it as I don't have a sump (worst decision ever) and no where I can just add it with some flow that I can think of.. Everyone else seems to run it in filtration so must be right!

You could try a hob filter with rowaphos, also are you using 0 tds ro, if not you could be adding phosphate through water changes

0 tds is no dissolved solids, basically water with all the bad stuff taken out, it would be worth investing in you own ro filter or even a tds meter to check the lfs water and a hob filter is hang on the back filter, it's a similar idea to your hang on skimmer, cheap small and can be used to house carbon and/or phosphate remover

Ill have to try a TDS meter as only have a flat and don't think I have the room for it under the sink all the time.

HOB filter sounds like a plan, thanks for recommendation.

Woke up this morning thinking my tank was quiet.. Skimmer wasn't on.. plugged in. everything else on the power socket is fine.. GREAT. Presume maybe the pump inside has packed in?

Or the impellor is very dirty and needs cleaning?

ill have to whip it off the tank and take it apart. it is full of crap ha.

Do I then have to clean it in RO? or can I just get it in the sink and clean under the tap? it has an aptastia in it too which I cant reach whilst on the back. Never had to do this so confused.

Strip it down and put it in some warm water and white vinegar then let it sit in that for about 1hour then it's time to get an old tooth brush and give it a scrub removing all the crud you can do.
The reason for the vinegar is only for removing calcareous algae like corraline. If there isn't any corraline on it then just warm water and scrub it straight away with no need to soak.

I normally strip mine into bits then put it into a empty salt bucket and let it soak for a while.

We'll update again.

BTA decided life wasn't for him.. I give up with them. Maybe too much flow.

Corals only for me ... so got these.

Picture of when they first went in.

Looking good Big Thumbs Up get a FTS up so i can see the whole tank. Bear in mind anemones prefer a mature tank. At least 6 months old but some will even say 1 year. They replie on very stable conditions in the tank. What are the levels in your tank ?
