    Hello All,

thought I'd finally stick on some photos and introduce my tank/myself.

Tanks bespoke 46"l x 26"h x 22" to fit in my living room alcove. Corner weir with sump.

Lighting is provided by a 6 tube 39w ATI Sunpower unit.

    Other kit:

    Bubble Maggus NAC7 Skimmer
1 Litre fluidised reactor running 750ml of bio pearls
    Eheim compact 5000 return pump
    Tunze Auto Top Up
LED grow light over fuge algae

I live in Chadderton so my local shop is Fishworld (until recently) but I'm close to cockfields and the living reef now Matt's not doing marines.

Its been running about 14 months. This is my third tank after starting with a orca nano and then converting my Malawi set-up which was a smaller 4ft tank. The regal, the trigger and corals are from the second set up but I lost a few LPS a bit back after letting my params slip due to work commitments.

I've been battling hair algae for the last couple of months but my sea hare and the pearls seem to be assisting greatly.

    Current stock:
    Regal Tang
    Vampire Tang
    Naso Tang
Pair of tank bred Clarki Clowns
    Blue Throat Trigger
    Chromis
    Algae Blenny
    Six Line Wrasse
    Snowflake Eel
    Pin Cushion Urchin
    2x rbta after spliiting
    Various snails, hermits
    2x Mini maxi anemone

Corals: Loads of mushies, leather toadstools, Rics, Torches, plates, Duncans, Hystrix, montis, Zoas, Xeina, Trumpets, hammerheads.

anyway some pics. Again excuse the algae its on the way out!!

Thanks for the comments peeps. Once the hair algae has cleared I'm planning on adding a few more frags up top right as I have a empty shelf.

Thanks Ged I reckon they have been a massive help trimming it down. Seems to be just falling off the rocks now and disintegrating... Be glad to see the back of it!!

Great really once they settle in. They've been a massive help with the algae and my nitrates are down to 0 from the 40 mark... Obviously with the current algae levels I can't get a proper idea of phos levels but they must be working well. Will update once the hair is cleared.

The blue throat is a great character. Can hand feed it like a puppy and he's never bothered anything in the tank

Couple of mini maxi nems added today and the hair algae is nearly totally gone. Zoas, rics, and mushies are spreading like wildfire now they're not smothered with the horrible green slimy menace!

New addition - rescued from a cracked tank. Been in a week or so now settled in nicely and isn't bothering any of the other stock.
