    Hi all
Well decided to sign up to the forum as quite a few friends are already here
Think quite a few of you know me already but will do a quick into anyhow

Names Steve which is pretty obvious from my user name and live in Wigan Gt Manchester.
Been keeping Marines for 3 years now after moving over from tropicals which I kept for better part of 25 years but decided to go for something a bit more challenging.

I have a 5x2x2 main tank with a 4ft sump running live rock filteration, a big Ratz skimmer, cheato and varios other algeas .Aquamedic 1000 Nitrate Reducer and Phospate reactor in the end compartment. Dosing with Biodigest every 14 days and using the bailing method to replenish ALK/Calcium and Magnesium.

Main tank has around 100kgs of live rock and has mainly SPS/LPS corals with the exception of my H.Magnifica nem which is around 18in across and hosted by 6 common clowns.

    Fish livestock consists of

6 common clowns which spawn every 2 weeks or so
    Pair of spawning Maroon Clowns
3 Construction Gobies of which 2 have paired up
    Yellow Tang
    Naso Tang
    Yellow belly Regal Tang
    Pink Tail Trigger
    Midas Blenny
    BiColor Blenny
    Flame Angel
    Coral Beauty Angel
    Yellow Clown Goby
    Green Coral Goby

    Coral wise is SPS/LPS dominated

My Marine claim to fame was having my tank featured in Marine World Magazine back in August 2008

    Will post some picks later

    Steve

Your name rings a bell, although I'm sure there are a few Steve Bibby's in the world! Do you have any connections with Sheffield Hallam?

Those Maroons are gorgeous, how do you get on with them and the percs when the maroons are spawning so often?

Just swapped percs for Maroons myself as I did not want to risk warfare in a 6x2x2.

Lippy is gorgeous too, but I do like tangs [001_wub.gif]

The female Maroon has her moments but nothing to serious, she'd rather take chunks out of me rather than anything else.
Think a few of the other members have seen her attack thier fingers when they put them to the glass, which is always amuses everyone

I have to say my percs never attacked me. I fed the nem last night with a lance fish and the big maroon female did not bite me, however, I am under no disillusionment, I know she WILL start to bite me soon.

I was feeling a little left out you see, everyone elses clowns bite them [011.gif]

    Stunning trigger too [thumbup.gif]
