Are the exact words that may one day come back to haunt SWMBO haha

And as this is my 1000 post, it's time to start a tank thread for the pending upgrade.

So a brief outline of the plans and progress so far.

The mortgage has been approved and is due to land in the bank any week now Big Thumbs Up
though the spending has commenced already.

We have had the house re-wired and are ready to install 2 new ring mains
one for the fish room and one for the tank itself

i have bought 2 no. 250 litre containers one for ro and one for salt (roughly one water change )

    and some equipment namely :-

2 no. Vectra L1 return pumps
    2 no. Nyos 160 skimmers
2 no. AFM 2.0 pellet reactors

Building control has been arranged and the builder is on board with a start imminent woo hoo

The tank itself is still under negotiation (apparently im dreaming too big)
but it has been accepted that it will be 8' long and approx 30" deep with front to back to be determined upon knocking through of the wall between the living room and the dning room.
Though i have said i want 4' and she is beginning to wilt, though some help came from the builder (himself a reef tank owner) and the wonderful staff at Burscough

The remote sump (going in the extension) is roughly 5' x 2' x 2' and will be on a metal stand with the afore mentioned plastic tanks above so water changes are a doddle
there will be a central drain in the floor, and the sump will be drilled so i can drain roughly 200 litres instantly
The extension will become a fish room evently (16 years till I retire)

My current 400 litre tank (when everything is transferred) will be relocated and become my quarantine tank

lighting will be radion gen 3 pros ( I have 2 so will be adding another 4 at least)
and water circulation will be by 180 gyres which I believe are due out early next year

BOY AM I EXCITED YOU CAN TAKE YOUR SWEET SHOP AND SHOVE IT

    This is where its going
the wall is approx 12' long and the builder actually reckons we could get a 9' tank in, but im not greedy

We had a BBQ on the last bank holiday and suggested it would be nice if everyone attending signed the wall before we knocked it through
Apologies for any profanity or dislike of your team
Alcohol was consumed in vast quantities by many

Seemed like a good idea at the time
