help with choice of skimmer

    I have no experience of any of these HOB skimmers but what I can tell you is that there is an alternative version of the Bubblemagus E3 skimmer called a Q3 which looks like a good bit of kit.

    I've heard good things about the Bubble Magus line of skimmers.

    Hi I had a bubble Magnus 7c which was a great skimmer but got a tmc reef skim 1500 which is better my tanks around 550l

    I run a coral box 500 on my 4/2/2,and bubble magus 5 on the tmc SIG 600.

    I really like my Aquamaxx CO-1 skimmer. Its an in sump skimmer but they also make a hang on version. I also had a Vertex Omega 130 that skimmed great but it was a pain to dial in. My tank is 50 gal / 189 l.

    If you have to go for a hob skimmer you could do worse than the BM.
