Hi all, I got a new leather mushroom coral for my tank about a month ago which is doing very well, the coral was already attached to a nice piece of rock when I got it so I put it in my tank. On the rock was a white/creamy ball shaped lump/object which I noticed when putting it, it was soft ish to the touch. I have only just noticed it’s alive! And am wondering what it could be and is it ok to keep in my tank. Any help would be very greatful. (Apologies for the video but if you look carefully you can see what I am on about).

No video but by the description it sounds very much like a sponge, if so it will be harmless and fine to leave in the tank.

The white blob is a sponge, the thing you have circled could be a little feather duster, a clearer picture would be better
