    Hi everyone,

One of my clowns is brown bread as it's decided to do the high jump right over the back of the tank! It was the first marine fish I bought 12 months ago.

I really want a pair of clowns so I have one extreme misbar clown looking for a new home. What can I do? Will a lfs give me a store credit for him?

    Cheers Paul.

When I went to the abyss I was asking the guy if he would take credit notes for fish and he said he would so maybe that could be an idea?

Why dont you just get a new partner for your remaining clown??? It just needs to be quite a bit smaller so that it will submit more easily....

well its the small one remaining but ive since learnt as ive got into the hobby more that tank bred misbar clowns are not the ideal choice if you want them to host an anemone. didn't consider that in the slightest at the very beginning so its a good opportunity to get a different pair.

I've had a pair of percs and what is now a large bubble-tip for 8 months and they wont go anywhere near it; there are no guaranties; be ready for that....i think your best bet are Clarkii or Maroons.

yeah I know its not guaranteed but as you said those 2 types of clowns have been mentioned a lot so there obviously a good bet. could do with ones that are "non jumping" lol

Not really heard of clowns jump....was maybe either spooked by something, bullied by another fish, temp shock after a water change or his wife did his head in!? I feel like jumping out the window sometimes, but the ground is only 1.5m down! Consider covering the tank perhaps; will slow down evaporation too.

hahaha. +1 on the window!! this one was always jumping!! it had jumped into the weir 20+ times until I covered it. maybe I just had a psychopathic misbar.

Ok so the lfs won't take it so rather than give it back to them for free I would rather give it someone on here! Anyone interested?
