grotech hea 150 skimmer upto 1000l - london

    hi all,
    i have a grotech hea 150 skimmer upto 1000l for sale
    age: 1year +
    Collection preferred but willing to post.
    price: £130 + pp (£10-15)

    is this sump mounted or extenally mounted ?

    what are they like copaired to the deltec or the bubble magnus ?

    You can place this one in the sump or outside the sump. I think its a very good skimmer. I saw it working on several occasions at my friends house before I bought it off him. It pulled out a lot of gunk. He upgraded and is currently using a Grotech HEA200 so he clearly likes this skimmer. The other plus of this one is that its pretty quiet when running.

    yup free frags too. :--

    this is as pic; external mounted, although its very easy to convert to sump mounted.

    also not mentioned above, it has 2 extra venturis on the lower intake pipe to enable use of pinwheel for increased performance,
    not that it needs it, also doubles up as a very high flow mixing point for the addition of additives.

    Matthew do you have a shop ? Only reason I ask is because I'm stuck at Great Ormond St and it would be nice to get out :lol:

    in another 6months i will do mate, have you been to gr portland st lfs ? (although not much worth looking at imo)

    thinking it might be too big for the sump area tbh looking at the scale on the net has to fit in the simp and the cabinate

    yeah sure,

    if your down alot pm me your number and when im around and not working ill show you lfs, they do sometimes have the occasional nice bits if a bit pricey.

    skimmer is 530mm and you need min of 560mm from sump to cab ceilin to take cup off,
    i imagine you've more space tho, height wise so shouldnt be an issue
