Took a trip to one of lfs today to pick up a few bits and got talking about my tank to cut a long story short I was given a bottle of atm colony, the lfs owner swears by it but I'm a bit unsure, over the past month I've been reading up on cycling and have come across atm colony mentioned in many threads, some people love it some people hate it, so the question is do I use it or do I cycle the old fashioned way ???

Nice tank looking forward to seeing this mature :) ATM Colony is great stuff i was shocked at how good it really was. I will use this on any tank i start up from now on without a doubt Big Thumbs Up worth the money i think .

Thanks for that, I spent a few hours last night reading up on it and it seems there's alot more positive results than negative, I'm off work for a few days now so I think I'm going to give it a go and add 2 tank bred clowns and maybe a fire fish

Thought I'd give this tapatalk a try and see of I can get some updated pictures on,
So here goes 4 weeks ago I took the plunge and went down the atm colony route 16 hours after adding the colony I added 2 tank bred clowns and a purple fire fish, I left off the updates as I was pretty scared about the instant cycle route but I have to say atm colony is superb, everything went exactly as the instructions said so after 12 days I was happy everything was good and started to add some corals [emoji1] more pics to follow

After a few issues with my torch detaching it's head all is going well, added a new fish last week, midas blenny, and added a few more zoas of various types, then the legend that is scott got in touch about some of his well known zoas after a few messages and a huge amount of laughter from his replies I went and collected a few frags of him, I know he's not here now but a huge thank you scott for you generosity
