Yea just seen what you mean fella - one to pickup tomorrow I guess!

Got an iron on loan aswell :hysterical: had a quick test - didnt go as well as I expected (I can only assume more heat and or longer time at ironing to make sure its on!)

So anyway minor update and 2 people to thank for some advice / help of late

Cheers StarfishEnterprise and nozzer ! Anyway panels done and fitted to cabinet

Cyano cleared up with Bens help and the hair algae subsiding! I think I'd have considered binning the Rock and maybe a shutdown if the problem got any worse!

So noticed once again this little beast appeared and pinched a snail!

Thanks again to Ben he's suggested some out of the box style ideas for getting this sorted!

Bonus finally got the new return pump in!

On the flip side it now has about another inch of water in the display (suspect this is where it should have been compared to the compact 2000 I was running!)

Well a little update I have to say again thanks to StarfishEnterprise I think without him answering my daft questions (even tho he has some issues of his own) I may have just considered closing down!

The tank looked a right mess with All sorts of red/green/brown algaes on the loose!

    Cheers chaps!

Its amazing how so much hard work over the last month (sand got removed and rinsed, cyano was siphoned off and in the end I dosed some RedCyano RX) etc can be basically finished off by turning the powerheads down a notch or 2 and well.. adjusting the lighting abit! 2 easy changes in hindsight I should have done a long time ago!

I got a conch and well for 2 weeks its just been going mental cleaning everything, the nass snails have reappeared, I've even seen some bristle worms which I hadnt seen in a long time

In the photos you may notice some "hair" algae! I say hair however snails wont go near it, however its slowly dying back so I dont want to go to extreme on that now unlike first time around!

Ben will probably kill me but I'm still tweaking the lights, unfortunately the Teszla packs alot of white LED's so when its ramped up and I am around its very clinical white wise! however to get the blue I want well.. I dont think it packs enough punch to keep the corals out!
