Today's update the tanks doing well apart from a small rise in temperature due to this current heatwave! And my t5s are not even on yet lol! So I've took steps to start cooling the tank if needed, (frozen water in bottles in freezer lol) also I've removed the glass lids it will increase evaporation but will hopefully aid in gas exchange and cooling will get the fan down if needed, also I'm getting some small bits of cyano again on parts of the sand bed so I've reduced lighting times and upped flow will see what happens but it's safe to say I'm still in the new tank zone so I'm not overly worried im sure it will burn itself out I'm also doing the bubbling method at night to see if it helps.

Disaster strikes again! I'm sure I'm cursed Haha, well one of my power heads has died I'm not surprised as it was an old wp25 I'm going to try and pick up another RW or something like that as I'm already running a double controller anyway, bit of a bummer like because im on a spending ban as we are saving up for the wedding but I've got a temporary solution I've added a spare return pump I had for now just to push the water back over it doesn't look the best but hey at least the corals are happy! Haha [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Had a nightmare of a day! So messing in the tank and the night before I have added a bag of carbon to my sump, unbeknownst to me I've knocked my overflow pipework alittle loose only the last 90° bend (only one I've not glued for ease of removal) and me putting my arm in the tank forced more water down the over flow and poof knocked off the last piece of pipe! So as you can guess flood time and worse than that my extension that runs the lights was on that side! So I've spent the rest of the day swapping out extensions and drying out plugs and pretty much flapping!
