    Yeah I've had a few tank and a few bouts of cyano LMAO only time my last tank had clean sand was when I had a chalk goby

    I always seem to get an outbreak after adding more bio pellets

    I'm not using any form or nitrate control just yet but have been toying with the idea of bio pellets or a liquid solution but will me being only soft corals so far in this tank I'm not concerned

    You know what I've been thinking, I started my tank this time with dry rock to save on costs and risks of unwanted pests, and ended up with more pests in this tank than I did my last which had live rock!

    Picked up a silver belly wrasse today he's settling well apart from my green wrasse being a douch will try and get better photos [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Touch wood! I haven't seen the green wrasse eat since I got him until adding the yellow wrasse haha I fed the tank and the green wrasse swam round eating all the food haha

    Today's up date not seen the yellow wrasse yet it's still in the sand poor sod either that or it's jumped and the dogs eaten it! In other news however picked up some more zoas today
    Sunny Ds (or similar)
    And some which I think are ultimate petroglyphs still need to get a 100% positive I'd [​IMG][​IMG]

    Yeah it's open top but got a rim and t5 light unit on top, I do have glass sliders but with the t5s the tank gets too hot I'm Gunna have to sort something out he may just be hid in the sand yet

    I got these from a guy in farnworth called Lee Fletcher he sells stuff on the Facebook groups all the time, dame guy I got the tank off and rock! So pretty much he has all my money haha

    Sooo still no sign of the yellow wrasse so he's either still hiding or is MIA next time I get a wrasse I need to get one bigger than the green wrasse to put him in his place if that fails I will have to get a trap to get him out for sure

    I'm sure he's still in the sand but I'm not going to poke about just going to leave him to it, ive read stories of them being under for 6 weeks even haha, anyway it is what it is just Gunna keep plodding and see if he shows up
