Just dive instructor, it's a far cry from life in the UK. Off to Western Australia for 6 months next then a quick 2 month dive expedition in Papua New Guinea before moving to NZ next year. Hopefully try a bit of ice diving over there

Maybe just not fanatical about a cold and wet life with to many responsibilities and bills in the UK! Ha

I like the UK, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else but I agree on the diving. I've done too much diving in cold dark cac holes. It was my day job for five years too (navy), I used to crave clear warm water like you dive in

I learnt in the UK, gave done a fair bit of cave diving to which is pretty cold and dark, very cool floating in between the stalagmites etc

I always wanted to have a go at cave diving or even pot holeing but alas that the was never to be. I don't scuba dive at all anymore only free dive, my biggest regret is not having dived on coral reefs more than I did. I've free dived them a lot but it's the time aspect I feel I've missed out on. No real regrets though, ive had some very cool diving experiences and a few laughs along the way

I have only seen on Manatee which was in a manatee reserve on the Mexico/Belize border but I must say it was rather special, Crystal river looks very cool for them

Usually when I see something cool I don't have a camera though ha ha

A friend of mine who was in the navy with me ended up working as a diver in the oil industry. He told me a tale of him working at a few hundred meters and having a whale come and investigate him, the dive of his life he describes it. All I can say is thank God for the warm water suit flush Hysterical
