Just got back from Steves, walked in and the tank was like a milk pond. God damn nem has gone into the NAC6 :Frustrated: luckily had 33ltrs of fresh salted water made up heated ready for e next 2 small water changes this week, which is about a 40% water change.

Skimmer out stripped cleaned back in currently over skimming like mad to pull the rest of it out the holding tank.

Monkey boy if you read this, when your nem splits I want first dibs on the offspring at the same price I did yours for Big Thumbs Up

Oh damn. Do you not run your skimmer in the sump?
Should all be ok though and you're on top of it.

A responsible reefer would have nem proofed the holding tank. I'm going to have to have a think whether or not you are up to the job of keeping a nem should this one split :D

The lights are safe and sound mate, water is nearly clear. Skimmer cup is pink lol.

Damn lucky Dave I only put the salt in this morning thinking that will do for the water change tomorrow and Wednesday. As expected all the corals are sulking ATM will just have to wait until tomorrow now.

Lucky escape, I came home to a milky tank last Thursday, found the half of the nem that split on the sand bed rotting. Got away with it fortunately. Hope you're as lucky mate.

Im still waiting for mine to split, it's been in four different tanks, two power heads, stung with aips, tourche's and licked by the dog and it still won't split. God knows how bad the quality of the water is for those persistent splitters ;-)

Hope so mate, just concerned as the body of water is small in the holding tank. Tomorrow will tell after the water change a large bag of carbon in there
