Liking the eel, a bit different.

I would not be brave enough to get one.

Lol I am still a bit cautious myself. But being honest seems pretty docile. Been at the tank today trying to nail this bubble algae

He he i think he is a bit slow in the head. I gave him scallop and he took it 10 seconds later he lost it and was floating around the tank. He did the same a few times after . I decided to scrap that idea then and give him some shrimp which he grabbed and headed for his hangout spot.

Have always wanted them but never seen them in norway before. Just researching now about feeding tips. Allot of people seems to be using mysis and brine.

As I understand it they open at night to feed so you need to train them to open in the day time. Never had one mind. I couldn't be arsed with target feeding it all the time! They look amazing when open though

My sun corals slowly declined over a few months, even with target feeding them. They are one of those corals that dont suit my own tank. It also got a bit of a chore though after a while trying to target feed so in many ways glad i no longer have them.

I know they are not the easiest of corals but the way i look at it 5 to 10 mins extra every 2 to 3 days is not an issue for me. I have to bottles cut to feed them so will see how it works out. Hoping to get them out when i feed the fish as the evening is when i see my tank most anyways.

Ahh the way i look at is if someone with sps in there tank uses allot of effort dosing and such whats a few minutes extra for me each day especially since i am aiming for lps ricordia and zoa dominated tank

Will have a look for the dd. I will start with brine and small krill. Was no mysis in marine store today. Always nice to have a new challenge though
