We are going to try an video this as we think it will be a great first video for the website.

We will be covering the basic principles of constructing an expanding foam rock wall. But the focus will be on materials used and the way we use them in a safe way for the marine tank. While some people dont like the idea of using expanding foam because either they feel it doesnt look good or worry about contamination. we will be addressing both these concerns and show you how it can be used as an alternative "glue" and also the use of a resin/sand to hide the glue and make it colour up nicely.

This technique can be use for rock walls, rock structures, hiding pipes or pumps etc.

Great evening again, the few of us that turned up where shown how to build a reef wall and bases with the aid of expanding foam and marine resin.
Neal and Simon did an excellent job showing us the techniques and how, I am sure like myself and the ones that attended will be using this technique in any future tank scapeing and builds.
    Thanks Neil, Simon!!

Thanks to Neil and Simon for showing us how to do the back wall, and for letting me experiment with fake rock on a stick.
