Yh mate the unit is saying 0 Tds but when I use the d-d Tds pen it's saying its 65 so not sure what's happening wether pen isn't calibrated or not I'm not sure but wondered if it's the water butt leeching

Hmmm not had that problem with my water butt , sounds like one of your tds metres are way off don't it ,have you tried just to measure water by just letting it go into a glass rather than water butt and see if that gets same 65 reading that would discount the water butt wouldn't it

I'm a big fan of the Hanna testers over the salifert. Bit more expensive but worth it IMO. I use the phosphate and alk. Check them out.

I use phosphate though I believe the phosphorous is more accurate. At my levels it does for me. I also use alk which is brilliant. I have iodine but it's very hit and miss as levels are so tiny. I looked at the calcium one but I here it's a pain to use so stick with salifert for that. They are the only things I measure.

Yes of course but I prefer the digital reading rather than the guess the colour method.

Looks very cheap Dan. Look in classifieds as they come up at £25 regular though they are snapped up. Think mine were £50 from Toby at LittleOcean
