Jez from poseidons-palace turned up a little earlier than i expected so i missed him which was a shame as would have been good to meet the man himself :thumbup1: but at least i got out of the moving tank part:clap:

and this is what i found waiting for me when i got back...

As requested, no gubbins in the sump because i have a rather exact system for the internal setup....

The main display looks fantastic and is a good size, can be quite hard to visualise how a tank will look until its in place and this looks spot on

I suppose this is the front veiw and as you can see, you will be able to see straight through it which is one thing i liked about my last tank, getting to see whats going on from all angles. should also make it much more accessable like this:thumbup1:

will have 3 stand pipes for lots of flow. its quite a big weir but i may reduce its size with some sand or lr.

Really please with the look of the braces at the moment, i was worried that they may be too big or be in the wrong place but at the moment i cant see any issues. they are a lot smaller than i thought they would be so im a very happy chappy

Getting wood, this is where i was when i should have been meeting Jez :whistling: 18mm exterior grade ply with a dab of undercoat.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

i used some foil backed poly underlay for a bit of a cushion and insulation.

and a few shots with both tanks in situ:cool:

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

and just incase your wondering, no i didnt clean up all that mess.... so i have another job to do in the morning.....

Thanks cheers for any comments guys Thanks

At least you'll be ok if there's any drilling or filling to be done.

    Sorry I couldn't resist

i ordered from swell, with the discount code and now i have just ordered a few bits of pipe from coral culture. not all of it because im not sure how big the holes are :/ stupid i know but it was ages ago, and all i can remember is trying to decide whether to go for 32mm or 40mm...

i know all i have to do is measure it but im not at work and i forgot to do it before i left today, heyho, it wont hurt to have a few extra bits of pipe anywhooo.

first wet test to see if there are any leaks and to give the tank a bit of a rinsethe bulkheads seem to be working a treat, and plenty of room for cleaning between them this time. the last tank i placed them far too close together
