Time for a new thread.Tanks been on order a week today, and talks since Xmas eve. I've gone for 48 x 26 x 24, in 12mm euro bracing. Opti White front and opti White right side as this is right next to where I sit. The cabinet is high gloss black with open back for plenty of ventilation, with a approx 5" matching pelmet. Lights are going to be the same ATI 39 x 8 dimmerable light unit suspended this time so it will give the light spread (I hope)Sump is a 4 section Section one is inlet via the twin stand pipe, 400 micron sock and a BM nac6-a skimmer which I picked up today, I've never been one to over skim and pull everything out the system.Section two is for MM and cheato.Section three return and phosphate reactor.Section four is the RO top up section approx 38 litres. Will be also setting up the ghl triple doser but inside the cabinet this time so it's not on display. Stocking the usual LPS and you never know I might even attempt some SPS third time lucky and all :whistling:Carl

He double checked on the lead time last week so it should be o schedule but things can change Hysterical

Cheers James, I'm nipping into Steves tomorrow to pay the balance off so I'll check to see if it's ok to nip down from time to time. I've never had a new tank before. Really looking forward to it and our lass is as well after showing her pics of a build similar Steve did for someone. I think it's the black gloss she likes, but that will change when see needs to clean it Hysterical

Took me a week tp plan it mate, I'd better get saving now for the MM and work out how much I need.

I know was  when I saw your post same size apart from the colour, just hope my lights will surfise though chris, as can't afford tp change them after only getting these a few months back.

    Two holding tanks mate
36 x 12 x 12 with my fish and some corals and a nac6a skimmer and a 30 x 12 x 12 sat at the back of it with my lr and some corals with the RDC850 skimmer. Going to set up the phos reactor tomorrow and planning small water changes every 4 or maybe 5 days. I've popped some pics on my old thread, but don't call the tang police :whistling:
    And lights ATI 8 x 39

Did you get that mess cleaned up before she got home? :whistling:

Did the heat sort itself or did you have to get a new heater mate?

I'll Pass on that one after my comment about new years Eve Matt picked up on Hysterical.

Left your £30 with Steve this afternoon mate Big Thumbs Up

Give the MM time mate, it won't happen over night, Ive not done enough reading yet about the MM, but a True DSB will take 6 months to mature.
