Where's the booster plumbed in? It should be after the carbon and before the membrane , You did unwrap the new carbon filter ? (Sorry got to ask lol )

    Hi,
Yeah im getting water through still but its only doing it off the pressure from the mains, i changed the carbon and filter to see if the pump wasn't getting enough water through the filter to feed it, it was all working fine it seems like the pump just isnt boosting the pressure any more. is there anything in the pump that can fail.

Yeh the diaphragm can go but unusual for a new pump, can you hear it running, is power definitely getting to it ?

Yeah I can here the pump running.
I really careful with it. I have the auto shut off kit but I know this doesn't shut the pump off so I keep an eye on my tub filling it has only ever had a couple of times where the valve has shutoff with maybe 10 min before I have turned the pump off. Could this of caused it.

I don't think it's economic to repair but I can ask for you , otherwise it's a new pump job unless you can find any info online how to sort it .. Trouble is it may have buggered the motor as well as the diaphragm ..

How is the auto shut off surpose to work with a booster pump. It surly shouldnt be able to burn the pump out in 10 min when they are sold to be used with each other. I've not had the pump long and it really has only been about 10 min. I can't be the first to have this problem.

You should have a high pressure switch fitted to turn the pump power supply off when the auto shut off stops the water. Then the pump doesn't run on and blow the diaphragm. The pump running with a closed outlet means it's pumping with nowhere to release pressure, and destroys the pump internals.

    Edit: as said above.
