Iv just bought a used bm c3.5 and I'm struggling to get the 'sweet spot ' I thought I had it comd back from football and it had about 10mm of dirty wet skim in but changed my filter sock and must have knocked it cos I get micro bubbles and doesn't seem to skim much?

Iv iv currently just put a pill box on the in take as the loud pulsing was doing me head in
its currently in about 7 in of water

    any advice welcomed

All skimmers can change when putting a clean sock in, it will settle back down.

That is one reason that I stopped using them, run one every now and then for a short time.
