Try Eco Marine Aquatics or Abyss. I think Eco are the wholesalers for this stuff but do deal retail as well and have a good range in and very helpful.

Its around £10 per kg. So double that of secondhand live rock but cheaper that majority of lfs live rock. I am adding mine with mature water so this will hopefully help..

I am also buying a bottle of Dr Tims all in one bacteria

    Have a look here

Buy it from Eco marine on eBay. They sell 10kg for a total of £62 inc delivery so works out at just £6.20 per kg;)

True but imo the pillars and plates are some what more desired than the plain rocks. If I wanted just rock I would go out and find a tank breakdown

Obviously this is just my opinion

I know what your saying but it depends on people's taste, some people prefer the more natural look. I think buying rock from a tank breakdown your potentially buying other people's problems be it critters or algae's.
If you go for aquaroche rocks you know what your getting, it's more Eco friendly
and it doesn't leech like reef bones;)

I have looked at the Aquaroche website, and been in contact with them by email. They have confirmed that the two companys mentioned are their UK distributers.I have emailed them several times (had an initial speedy response from Tom) but nothing back since..perhaps its a busy time for them but need prices for pillars etc...can see rocks & plates on Ebay but not pillars. Will give it a few days. Thanks for all the advice!
