it's a 50w ufo growlight from a non sponsor bit pricy at £59 but we'll worth it for bigger tanks imo.

It looks cool in your sump [emoji108] I'd expect that kinda ££ for a sump that big

After seeing your light been looking for full spectrum light and found this

I'm not sure if all the types of macro algae will grow under red/pink lights. I know cheato definatly does but not sure about any of the others might be worth a quick search before you buy?

Most algae will grow under red/blue light.... that led is pink purple which is a mix of the 2 spectrums (think primary colours red blue mix.... at 15w and its small size i would say it would be perfect for the job you need it to do....

I would have just monitored ,kept hands out of tank, and fed little and often panic sets in and we rush to set up qt,extra stress on an already stressed fish..Is that sand in there?.and is that lr

I had a lovely pair of Darwin clownfish in the past and they also had ick, I did the monitoring and started to add garlic gard and avitol to feeding in the end I lost both in a space off a week I dealt whith ick on freshwater set ups and copper always worked for me. Since I lost this fish I left the tank empty for 4 weeks b4 I got these clownfish tinking that ick was gone, apparently I still have ick in my main tank so will have to leave them in this tank for a wile I tink not shure what to do yet. Yeah I put some kent bio sediment that I had left and a bit of LR, wast I suppose to have noting in der?

if you are dosing with copper it will kill anything on the lr,better to have plastic piping or plant pots and take sand out.

be careful when using copper it can kill very easily its different to dosing copper on tropical tanks. also as for the other clown it sounds more like velvet killing so fast. you will find w.s. only rears its head when fish are stressed and id bet its in most people tank without them knowing.

you also need to know you can use that piece of rock in that tank in a normal tank again as it will soak up the copper. in doing so it will lower the copper levels in the tank. anything of the rock will also die and more then likly cause an ammonia spike which could very well kill off the 2 clowns. your best of removing it and putting in some plastic pipe.

I tink I got my set up very wrong, I don't see any white spots on them today, shoul I put them back in DT and if it comes back again sort out properly hospital tank first? And chuck all the LR and Sand in bin
