Yeah that's right. It's that side which is on view to the whole living room so the most minimal the better :).

    I think we have a winner :)

Its a nice fit. It's 32mm outside diameter so fits nicely in the 32mm pipe that's in the bend

Not sure wether to solvent weld them in or just put some silicone round the fitting. I'm thinking it might not be the right plastic for it.

i would not solvent weld, just for the fact if the strainer got damaged you can then replace. A small amount of silicone will hold it.

Thanks Swin. Just need to sort the return now.

Il leave it as it is now then. Didn't think of cleaning lol.

Need some 32mm ball valves now. Don't fancy paying £18 for one tho :(

Anybody any ideas on the return? I've a 30mm hole in the back brace bar. So I could do with a fitting for that which I can attach hosing too. I'm going to get/make a hood (with no lid) so it is not in sight.

    Thanks Matt

I used to work for LBS lmao they are a few mile from me.

Careful because the fittings are not always right. Something to do with metric/imperial. I have tried them. No joy. But if you go to the parts department in Trawden you can mess with the fittings and see if you can match one.

I go to the counter and they are very good bring out the bits and make sure i have right ones + they sell the pipe for the bits
so if you do it all in there pipe and fittings should be ok :) its about 30 min Drive for me
